Nine appears again, now in the Wound. The question changes: can an experience teach without continuing to organize the present? This placement does not tell us what happened to him.

- The old experience, role, or pain can remain central—as though releasing it would mean losing what it taught.

- Keep what you learned while checking what is different now. Remembering does not have to mean reliving, and understanding does not require immediate closure.

Destiny asks how learning changes the future. Wound asks whether the past can teach without deciding that future.

What becomes trustworthy through practice
Discipline 8 — STAND
Know where you stand without hardening.
Obama’s Discipline is 8. STAND asks how a position can remain clear when disagreement, pressure, or consequence enters the room.

- React too quickly, over-defend, withdraw, or become difficult to reach. More force can start to feel like more certainty.

Vocation 10 — LEAD
Make direction useful to other people.
Vocation 10 asks more than whether Obama can lead. It asks whether a vision can become clear direction that other people can understand, question, and help carry.

Let feeling inform direction.
Ten appears again, this time in Integration. Vocation asks how Obama might offer direction outwardly. Integration asks what direction feels like when there is no public role to perform.

A position does not become trustworthy just because it is firm. It still has to remain teachable.
