Terms of Use

The Field Scribe is a symbolic reading system. It takes the birth details you enter, calculates a set of coordinates from them, and translates those coordinates into the Field Scribe structure: six Roots, six Bridges and a Signature Seal.

By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

A Field Scribe reading is offered for reflection. It is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and it is not a diagnosis or a prediction. It does not tell you what to do, and nothing in a reading should be treated as a substitute for professional care or your own judgement.

The reading describes structure, not certainty. You remain responsible for the decisions you make.

You need an account to keep a reading, to open a Full Reading, and to manage your preferences. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Accounts are for individual use.

You may stop using the service at any time. If you want your account closed, contact us and we will act on the request.

The Full Field Reading is a one-time purchase attached to one specific reading. Buying a Full Reading for one reading does not unlock any other reading, past or future. The price shown at checkout is the price that applies to that purchase.

Payment is handled by our payment provider. Because a Full Reading is generated and made available to you immediately, refunds are handled case by case; if something went wrong with your purchase, write to us and we will look at it.

The birth details you enter, and the readings generated from them, remain yours to keep and to read. Anything you choose to submit through a feedback form remains yours as well, and you give us permission to read it so we can respond to it and understand how the product is landing.

The Field Scribe system itself — its structure, its canonical language, its Seals, Roots, Bridges, postures and written material — belongs to The Field Scribe. You may keep and print your own reading for personal use. Please do not resell it, republish it as your own, or use it to build a competing system.

Two things on this site are optional and separate from these terms: receiving email updates, and the Help shape The Field Scribe permission. Neither is required to create an account, receive a reading, or purchase a Full Reading, and either can be changed at any time in your Account settings.

Agreeing to these terms is not agreement to either optional permission.

The Field Scribe is an evolving system. Features may change, and the site may occasionally be unavailable. We may update these terms; when we do, the effective date above changes, and continuing to use the service means the updated terms apply.

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service or from decisions taken in response to a reading.
